Sorry for the low-res images. I don't have time to decide on my rendering technique for this model yet. I still have a lot more modeling to do, but this is the basic approach. Rock-formation-like bones cover the ground with a few inhabitation spaces concealed between them (the ones colored brown at the moment). The main space in the middle will be the mosque, which looks like a pile of those bones on ones side, but on the other side (facing the water) is semi rigid folliage. The labs will be pavilions on the perifery that are connected to zombie-traps.

At the moment, I'm looking at three types of cells, each acting as a type of transition between the other two, and subsequently, counter-mutating. The light green one, a shell or volume encapsuling body that is usually of a softer nature with less creases. The red, mimics aspects of the shell yet becomes more rigid and defined. The black, a body with tentacles that puts the different cells in tension with each other.

Two families, each with their own private, each with their own public, create a third public. A common public to two different families. Is there an existing typology to describe this situation? What is domesticity without intimacy?
